Monday, May 26th, 2008Photography is a special privilege. I feel lucky to be able to take photos, stash them for awhile, then look through them and be reminded of the events surrounding the moment when the picture was made.
This sunset picture is not really very good. But it was taken when I was with a group of [...]
Drunk and Rowdy
Monday, May 26th, 2008This was from the MMA fight I shot awhile back in Missouri. This guy was really drunk and rowdy and was causing problems. After this ‘discussion’ he settled down some.
Under Same Moon
Sunday, May 25th, 2008My friend Rainer sitting for a spontaneous portrait session in Virginia. These aren’t very sharp because it was pretty dark outside so my shutter was open for a long time and I was doing these handheld. Strand Book Store
Tuesday, May 20th, 2008Used book stores are amazing places. I love just going in with an open mind and finding random fascinating books to skim through and sometimes buy. When I was in New York I visited Strand bookstore (18 Miles of books!) and explored a lot of interesting photography books and a few history books as well.
Funny Dilbert
Tuesday, May 20th, 2008Funny!
Mayan Ruins: Tulum
Monday, May 19th, 2008So I visited the ancient Mayan Ruins of Tulum the last time I was down in Mexico, but unfortunately I had barely any time to shoot before getting ushered out by the guards. It was almost closing time when I got there.
The Tulum ruins are the third most-visited archaeological site in Mexico, after Teotihuacan [...]
